Certified Neutral

For a company, carbon neutral means that all of the emissions created through scope 1, 2 & optional areas of scope 3 have been reduced through sustainable practises then offset by purchasing carbon credits to the same amount of emissions remaining, balancing them to neutral.

For a consumer any one of the 3 individual scope levels can be offset to neutral collectively or individually.

This means that you are offsetting your footprint for a given period of time, by purchasing 1 unit of offsets for 1 tonne of emissions created.
